11 Jul La confianza empresarial en Canarias registra en el tercer trimestre de 2023 una subida del 1,1% with respect to the previous

favorable en el tercer trimestre de 2023, mientras que el 16,8% piensa que será desfavorable. El
balance de expectativas, calculado como la diferencia entre el porcentaje de respuestas favorables y
desfavorables, se sitúa en 10,7 puntos, mejorando los 5,0 del trimestre anterior.

gestores ha tenido una opinión favorable. Por otra parte, el 17,9% ha opinado de forma desfavorable,
lo que hace que el balance de situación, calculado análogamente al de expectativas, tome el valor
9,4, empeorando los 10,9 puntos del trimestre anterior.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas tanto extranjeros como residentes en la Península fue
Tenerife (464.767), seguida de Gran Canaria, con (271.622) tourists.

04 Jul The registered unemployment figure in the Canary Islands is 174.019 people

superada por Baleares (15,2%), Madrid (10,1%) y Cataluña (7,6%). On the other side, the minors
variaciones se produjeron en Castilla y León (0,3%), Murcia (1,6%) and Navarre (1,9%). Taking into account the
evolution of sales by groups in the Canary Islands, subieron un 2,9% en alimentación y un 17,5% en el
rest.

Por su parte, employment in Canarian retail trade has increased by 3,7% in the last twelve
meses, while at the national level it has increased 1,6%. En este concepto, Canarias está posicionada
in second position among the group of autonomous communities and cities, superada por Baleares
(5,7%) and followed by the Valencian Community (3,6%), while the lowest rates of variation are
