04 Nov Comienza la recogida de datos de la Encuesta de ingresos y condiciones de vida de los hogares canarios de 2022 (EICVHC-22)

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias The Survey of Income and Living Conditions of Canarian Households 2022 (EICVHC-22), continuation
of those made in 2018, 2013, 2007, 2004 and 2001, aims to discover the characteristics
and socio-economic conditions of the Canarian population, the equipment of the houses and the
life habits of the canaries for each of the islands. It is a statistical operation
of an official nature, regulated by Decree 78/2018, de 21 of may.

The statistics will consist of a survey addressed to households and their members of 16 and more years. Se
have randomly selected 230 census sections and in each of them, 20 viviendas. El
sample size will be approx. 4.600 homes and 11.960 individuals.

The information provided for the elaboration of these statistics is very relevant for our
society, for the Government of the Canary Islands and other social action institutions, since from
she plans, social policies are evaluated and implemented for the benefit of the
citizenship.
