By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Tourists from the United Kingdom represented the largest number of entries (448.831), a
39,6% of the total number of tourists. Seguidos de los turistas residentes en Alemania (155.901), what
representan el 13,7% of the total, and residents in the rest of Spain (148.733), contributing a
13,1% del total de turistas recibidos.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas tanto extranjeros como residentes en la Península fue
Tenerife (464.767), seguida de Gran Canaria, con (271.622) tourists.
