Today the Council of Ministers approved two royal decrees to facilitate the development of 5G networks in Spain. With the first royal decree, a new National Technical Plan for digital terrestrial television is approved (TDT) and the release of the Second Digital Dividend is regulated. The second royal decree regulates the direct granting of subsidies intended to compensate for the costs derived from the adaptation of collective reception systems for audiovisual communication services..

The Council of Ministers has validated the draft law on Promoting the long-term involvement of shareholders of listed companies, that modifies the consolidated text of the Capital Companies Law. The standard transposes the Directive 828/2017, aimed at improving the corporate governance of companies listed in the European Union and thus increasing their financing possibilities and long-term sustainability.

Today the Council of Ministers approved the Agreement by which the second tranche of the Guarantees Line is activated for companies and self-employed workers who, por importe de 100.000 millones de euros, the Government agreed last 17 de marzo.
The new section, de 20.000 millones de euros, equal in amount to the previous one. El 100% of the funds are intended to support operations of SMEs and the self-employed, considering that they are the agents of economic activity that most require this support currently.

The Ministry of Economy and Business has initiated a public consultation to obtain the opinion of agents in the audiovisual sector and other interested parties regarding the transposition of the Directive. (UE) 2018/1808 of Parliament and the Council of 14 November 2018. The transposition modifies Directive 2010/13/EU on the coordination of certain legal provisions, regulatory and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to the provision of audiovisual communication services (Audiovisual communication services directive), taking into account evolving market realities.

El Fondo Social de Vivienda (FSV), aimed at facilitating access to housing for vulnerable families, has been extended until January 2020. This fund was launched in January 2013 con 6.000 homes provided by financial entities.
