El Índice de Precios de Consumo (IPC) aumentó en octubre de 2017 a 1,6% interanual, tasa coincidente con la adelantada por el INE a finales del pasado mes y dos décimas inferior a la del mes de septiembre, según las cifras publicadas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE). This evolution is mainly explained by the lower growth rate of the prices of energy products and, en menor medida, due to the slowdown in the prices of services and the decrease in the prices of non-energy industrial goods (BINE), partially offset by the faster growth rate of food prices, especially the unprocessed one. En términos intermensuales, the CPI has increased 0,9% en octubre de 2017, frente a la subida del 1,1% del mismo mes de 2016
