The Council of Ministers today approved a Royal Decree-Law that modifies the revised text of the Securities Market Law. With this RDL and the subsequent development of a Royal Decree, in which the most regulatory content of the project will be collected, the transposition of the Directive will be completed 2014/65, relating to financial instrument markets, better known as MIFID II.

The Council of Ministers today authorized the granting of aid for carrying out projects to extend the latest generation broadband networks, above 100 megabits per second,,pt,Urgent measures in financial matters,,es,on the legal regime of central securities depositories and central counterparties and on transparency requirements of securities issuers admitted to trading in an official secondary market,,es,amending Directive 2005/36 / EC on the recognition of professional qualifications and the Regulation,,es,n.º,,vi,concerning administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System,,es,IMI Regulation,,es (Mbps), under the Next Generation Broadband Extension Program (PEBA-NGA). The call for aid worth 150 million euros will be carried out by the Ministry of Economy and Business through a resolution of the Secretary of State for Digital Advancement.

The Council of Ministers today declared the processing of the draft royal decree to be urgent, approving the National Technical Plan for digital terrestrial television and regulating certain aspects for the release of the second digital dividend.. The Government approved today in the Council of Ministers the Royal Decree-Law for the transposition of the European Directive on cybersecurity, known as the NIS Directive. En concreto, transposes the Directive into the Spanish legal system (UE) 2016/1148 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, de 6 de julio de 2016, on measures to ensure a high common level of security for networks and information systems in the European Union.
