10 Feb The year-on-year GDP grew in the Canary Islands by 4,7% versus 2,7% registered by the whole of Spain

2022, At the national level, the economy experienced growth in this quarter of the 0,2%. The data
available by autonomous communities reflect the following variations: Andalusia (0,2%), Navarra
(0,8%) and Basque Country (0,4%). Para el conjunto del año 2022, el PIB canario se incrementa un 8,2%
respecto al año anterior, a nivel nacional la economía experimentó un crecimiento del 5,5%. Los
datos disponibles por comunidades autónomas reflejan los siguientes crecimientos: Andalusia (5,2%),
Navarra (4,3%) and Basque Country (4,3%).

03 Feb December closes with 1.448.890 tourists

followed by residents in Germany (257.898) and residents in Spain (131.348).

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas tanto extranjeros como residentes en la Península fue
Tenerife (570.381), seguida de Gran Canaria con (411.447) tourists.

31 Jan Retail sales in the Canary Islands increased in December 2022 a 6,7% over the same month of 2021

being surpassed only by the Balearic Islands (8,9%) and followed by the Valencian Community (5,5%). For another
side, the smallest variations occurred in Melilla (0,1%), Castile – La Mancha (0,9%) and
Estremadura (1,0%). Atendiendo a la evolución de las ventas por grupos, these went up in the Canary Islands

26 Jan La tasa de paro en Canarias se sitúa en el 14,6% en el cuarto trimestre de 2022

of the 4,6% compared to the previous quarter. Employment by economic sectors rose by 15,4% en
building, a 8% in industry and a 4,5% in services. Por el contrario, went down a 21,7% en
agriculture.

Of households that have at least one active member, el 78,6% has all the assets occupied and
a 8,9% has all its assets unemployed.

24 Jan Imports in value accumulated between January and November 2022 in the Canary Islands they registered an increase of 40,5% respecto al mismo periodo de 2021

Un 30,3% of imports made in November 2022 were machinery and equipment

23 Jan Calls to 016 due to gender violence in the Canary Islands increased 27% en noviembre de 2022 respecto al mismo mes del año 2021
