14 Nov La variación anual del IPC en Canarias se sitúa en el 4,3% en octubre de 2023

a 2,5% rather than 2021, contributing the Town Councils 54,4 millones de euros, the Government of the Canary Islands
36 million euros and the Government of Spain 5,2 millones de euros.

The Statistics of the Concerted Plan for Basic Benefits of Social Services collects the
main characteristics and current dimension of the Public Network of Social Care Services
Primary in terms of benefits, usuarios, expenses and economic and human resources allocated,
both at the island and municipal level. This statistical operation is carried out in collaboration with
the Department of Social Welfare, Equality, Youth, Childhood and Families.

03 Nov The registered unemployment figure in the Canary Islands is 173.170 people

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Por sexos y respecto de septiembre de 2023, el paro bajó en 1.663 hombres, siendo la tasa de
variación del 2,3% y también se incrementó en 1.409 mujeres, lo que supone una tasa del 1,4%.
Aumentaron las cifras de paro para todos los grupos de edad, produciéndose el mayor aumento en el
grupo de menores de 25 years old, donde la tasa fue del 10,3%.

Las cifras de paro registrado subieron en todas las islas, excepto en El Hierro, donde bajó un 1,3%.
Los mayores incrementos porcentuales se dieron en Fuerteventura (5,8%), La Gomera (2,8%) y Lanzarote
(2,7%). On the other side, el paro registrado subió en todos los sectores económicos, siendo las tasas
de variación del 3% in agriculture, 2,2% en industria, 0,9% under construction and 1,4% in services. El
colectivo de personas que buscan su primer empleo aumentó también un 6,6%.
