14 Dec La variación anual del IPC en Canarias se sitúa en el 3,8% en noviembre de 2023

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias By sex and with respect to October 2023, unemployment fell by 981 hombres, being the rate of variation
of the -1,3%, and also decreased in 1.655 mujeres, which represents a rate of -1,7%. They lowered the
unemployment figures for all age groups, with the greatest decrease occurring in the group of
minors 25 years old, where the rate was -3,5%.

Registered unemployment figures fell on all islands, except in La Gomera, La Palma and The
Hierro. The largest percentage decreases occurred in Lanzarote (-2,9%), Gran Canaria (-1,8%) and
Tenerife (-1,6%). On the other side, Registered unemployment fell in all economic sectors, siendo
the rates of variation of -2,2% in agriculture, -1,3% en industria, -1,2% under construction and -1,5%
in services. The group of people looking for their first job also decreased by 1,8%.
Also noteworthy is the drop in registered unemployment in commerce. (-2,3%) and in hospitality (-2%).
