The acting Minister of Economy and Business and President of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BERD), Nadia Calviño, and the president of the EBRD, Suma Chakraborty, have signed an agreement by which Spain contributes two million euros to the Technical Assistance Fund for countries in the SEMED region. This region includes Morocco, Tunisia, Egipto, Jordan and Lebanon.

El próximo 24 de julio arrancan los primeros encendidos de nuevas frecuencias de televisión digital terrestre (TDT) en Mallorca, Ibiza y Formentera, así como en 94 municipios de la provincia de Cáceres, and the 26 de julio en 24 localidades de la provincia Huelva. Unos 36.000 edificios de estas zonas tendrán que adaptar sus instalaciones de antenas colectivas para continuar recibiendo la oferta completa de canales de TDT. Dispondrán para ello de un plazo máximo de seis meses y contarán con ayudas públicas.
