The Council of Ministers has approved a Royal Decree creating the Macroprudential Authority Financial Stability Council (AMCESFI), as the body responsible for preventing and mitigating systemic risk to financial stability.

The Government approved today in the Council of Ministers the Royal Decree-Law for the transposition of the European Directive on cybersecurity, known as the NIS Directive. En concreto, transposes the Directive into the Spanish legal system (UE) 2016/1148 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, de 6 de julio de 2016, relativa a las medidas destinadas a garantizar un elevado nivel común de seguridad de las redes y sistemas de información en la Unión Europea.

The Bank of Spain has published its macroeconomic projections for the Spanish economy for the period 2019-2021. According to your forecasts, Gross Domestic Product (START) will grow in 2019 a 2,2% and in 2020 el 1,9%: “The good pace of progress of the Spanish economy is maintained despite the unfavorable evolution of the external environment”.

The World Bank has published the Doing Business report that analyzes the conditions for doing business in 190 countries, granting a final overall grade and a grade for each area analyzed, siendo 100 the reference value. Spain remains among the 30 best countries in the world to do business, with a score of 77,9 puntos.
