25 Jul Aumenta el número de viviendas vacacionales disponibles en Canarias en junio de 2025 over the same month of 2024

ciento. En Gran Canaria están ubicadas el 21 por ciento de estas viviendas. En Lanzarote y
Fuerteventura está el 17% and the 14%, respectivamente, de este parque inmobiliario.

En total hay más de 189.609 plazas de alojamiento disponibles en viviendas vacacionales. Esto supone
a 0.4 por ciento menos respecto a junio de 2024.

Durante el mes de junio, 40.735 viviendas recibieron alguna reserva, lo que supone un 89.63 por
ciento del total de las viviendas disponibles en las plataformas digitales analizadas.

Oferta alojativa

El objetivo de esta operación estadística experimental es ofrecer indicadores mensuales de la
capacidad, la ocupación y la rentabilidad de la vivienda vacacional que esté disponible en las
plataformas analizadas en el mes de referencia, entre otros datos de interés para el sector.

Al tratarse de datos similares a los que se obtienen con las encuestas tradicionales de alojamiento
hotelero y extrahotelero, permite la comparación entre ambas tipologías. For this study, se
publican datos de las viviendas vacacionales que prestan servicio de alojamiento en Canarias y que
se ofertan en plataformas digitales de intermediación.

Cuatro de cada cinco hogares tiene a todos sus miembros activos con empleo, mientras que el 6,8%
tiene a todos sus miembros activos en paro.
