12 Feb Vehicle registration increased by 2025 especially due to the boost of passenger cars

owner. This process grew 4,43 percent compared to last year. In total they were
214.893 ownership changes, the highest value of the last 11 years old.

The registration of vehicles with electric traction has increased by 22,9 percent in 2025. Los

have diesel traction dropped one 28,6 percent with respect to 2024.

(14,51%), while it went down in Tenerife (-0,34%), La Gomera (-11,4%), La Palma (-2,35%) y El Hierro
(-11,49%).

During the year 2025, vehicle registration for driverless rental services increased

12 Feb The number of commercial companies increases in the Canary Islands in 2025

supposes a 8% menos que en 2024.

Most of the commercial companies (el 99,7%) that were created were under the formula of

11 Feb The number of deaths in the Canary Islands decreases in 2024 although deaths from cancer increased

about 2023. Most of the deaths were due to tumors. Specifically they were 4.863, lo
