05 Jan Registered unemployment remains in December 2025

similares al mes pasado. Aunque las variaciones por grupos de edad también son muy pequeñas, la
mayor disminución porcentual se produjo en los menores de 25 years old, con una tasa del -8,0%.

Solo el sector de la construcción subió ligeramente respecto del paro registrado, quedando el resto
de sectores económicos en cifras de desempleo similares a las del mes anterior. El colectivo de
personas sin empleo anterior bajó en un -3,3%. Comercio y hostelería mejoraron en un 1,2% y un 0,5%
respectivamente. However, en otras ramas de actividad, como educación, se incrementó el
desempleo en un 5,5%. Por islas, el paro registrado bajó ligeramente en Tenerife y Gran Canaria, and

con 28.280 euros por habitante. Le siguen Fuerteventura, con 26.219 euros, y Tenerife, con 26.061
euros, las tres por encima de la media regional, que alcanza los 25.877 euros. Por debajo de esta
cifra se sitúan: Gran Canaria (25.468), La Palma (23.879), La Gomera (23.570) y El Hierro (22.760).
Estos son datos de avance del PIB por islas para 2024 publicados por el Instituto Canario de
Estadística (ISTAC).

Desde el año 2004, Lanzarote destaca por registrar el PIB per cápita más elevado de las islas.
Fuerteventura y Tenerife muestran valores similares entre sí y ligeramente superiores a los de Gran
Canaria, mientras que La Gomera, La Palma y El Hierro presentan los registros más bajos. No
obstante, en los últimos años de la serie se observa cierta convergencia entre las islas, that is to say,
se acorta la distancia entre los valores extremos de este indicador.

Además del PIB, esta operación proporciona información relativa al empleo total, empleo asalariado,
población residente y PIB per cápita. Los datos de 2024 solo están disponibles para los totales de
las variables mencionadas. Las cifras de 2023 son provisionales y el resto de la serie, desde el año
2000, es definitiva.

aumentó un 2.3 percent compared to the same month of 2024. En total fueron 612.568 viajeros, por
los 598.743 que hubo en 2024. Este es uno de los datos que aparece en la Estadística de Transporte
Marítimo que publica el Instituto Canario de Estadística (ISTAC)..

En el mes de octubre un total de 209.575 Cruise passengers used the ports of the Canary Islands.
