El Comité de Estabilidad Financiera (CESFI) se ha reunido por primera desde 2013, bajo la presidencia de la ministra de Economía y Empresa, Nadia Calviño. Durante la comparecencia en el Congreso de los Diputados la ministra anunció su voluntad de reactivar este organismo. El encuentro ha contado con la participación del gobernador del Banco de España, Pablo Hernández de Cos, y del presidente de la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), Sebastián Albella.

La ministra de Economía y Empresa, Nadia Calviño, ha participado en la cumbre de ministros de Finanzas y Gobernadores de Bancos Centrales del G20, celebrada los días 21 and 22 de julio en Buenos Aires. The minister has participated in the different plenary sessions organized by the Argentine presidency of the G20 and has taken the opportunity to hold up to nine bilateral meetings.

The year-on-year rate of the general CPI fell by half a point in December 2018, standing in the 1,2%, as the INE advanced at the end of last month, mainly due to the more contained advance in energy prices. The average annual inflation of 2018 is located in the 1,7%, lower by three tenths than that of 2017.
