01 Jan El Gobierno aprueba un nuevo régimen jurídico para fortalecer las cooperativas de crédito

El Consejo de Ministros ha aprobado un Real Decreto-Ley de medidas urgentes en materia financiera cuyo objetivo es reformar el régimen jurídico de las cooperativas de crédito. El sector supone el 6% of the credit system and has great relevance in the financing of smaller economic agents in the agricultural sector, industrial and professional, such as SMEs, self-employed or entrepreneurs. Con esta norma, Processes that contribute to the strengthening and increasing the resistance of these entities are favored., en concreto, through the constitution of the so-called Institutional Protection Mechanisms (MIP). This completes the cycle of financial system reforms that the Government began in 2012 and that have allowed the sector to contribute to the recovery of the Spanish economy.
