By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Tourists from the United Kingdom represented the largest number of entries (465.832), a
31,6% of the total number of tourists; followed by resident tourists Germany (276.807), which represent
el 18,8% of the total, and residents in the rest of Spain (127.375), contributing a 8,6% of the total
of tourists received.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas tanto extranjeros como residentes en la Península fue
Tenerife (588.032), seguida de Gran Canaria, con 408.104 tourists.
