29 Aug Las ventas al por menor en Canarias aumentaron un 5,1% en julio de 2025 con respecto al mismo mes de 2024

greatest variations took place in the Basque Country (6,7%), Ceuta (6,6%) y Cantabria (6,1%). For another
side, The smallest variations occurred in Castilla y León (1,0%), Asturias (1,8%) and Extremadura
(3,1%). Taking into account the evolution of sales by groups in the Canary Islands, these went up a 6,3% en
alimentación y un 4,9% en el resto.
Por su parte, employment in Canarian retail trade has increased by 1,2% in the last twelve
meses, while at the national level it has increased 2,0%. En este concepto, Canarias (1,2%) this
positioned in the twelfth position among the group of autonomous communities and cities. Las
greatest variations took place in Catalonia (4,6%), Navarra (3,2%), Castile – La Mancha (2,2%) and
Asturias (2,2%) while the lowest variation rates have occurred in Castilla y León (0,3%),
Estremadura (0,3%) and Basque Country (0,4%).
