12 May La variación anual del IPC en Canarias se sitúa en el 5,5% en abril de 2023

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Hosting services (17,3%), tourist packages (15,6%) and food (15,0%) se
are among the most inflationary goods and services. Por otra parte, se han producido
descensos del 31,9% in electricity, gas and other fuels, of the 11,4% in transportation services
y del 6,3% in telephone and fax equipment.

The monthly variation rate for April took the value 0,8%, placing the variation so far this year
en el 2,0%. Por otra parte, the annual rate of the general index without unprocessed foods or
energy products (core inflation) take the value 7,1%, being eight tenths lower than
registered in March (7,9%). At the state level this rate reaches 6,6%.
