By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Oils and fats (37,1%), sheep meat (18,0%) and the potatoes and their preparations (17,3%) se
are among the most inflationary goods and services. Por otra parte, se han producido
descensos del 6,1% in heating, lighting and water distribution, of the 4,5% in accessories and
repairs of clothing and 3,9% in household appliances and their repairs.

The monthly variation rate for February took the value 0,4%, placing the variation in those that go from
year also in the 0,4%. Por otra parte, the annual rate of the general index without unprocessed foods
nor energy products (core inflation) take the value 3,4%, being four tenths lower
to the one registered in January (3,8%). At the state level this rate reaches 3,5%.
