12 Sep Inflation remains in August in the Canary Islands

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias At the national level the rate takes the value 2,7%, which is five tenths more than in the archipelago.

Café, cocoa and infusions (14,8%), beef (13,3%) and the eggs (12,7%) they meet
dentro de los bienes y servicios más inflacionistas. Por otra parte, se han producido descensos del
34,2% in oils and fats, of the 4,8% in textiles and accessories for the home and 3,6% in objects
recreational.

The monthly variation rate for August in the Canary Islands took the value 0,2%, placing the variation in
what's going on this year 1,7%.

Por otra parte, the annual rate of the general index without unprocessed foods or products
energetic (core inflation) take the value 2,0%. This represents the third consecutive increase
since the month of may (1,6%). At the state level this rate reaches 2,4%, four tenths above
of the value registered in the Canary Islands.
