La economía española mantiene un elevado crecimiento y un fuerte ritmo de creación de empleo, según los datos de la Contabilidad Nacional correspondientes al tercer trimestre del año, published by the INE. La tasa intertrimestral se sitúa en el 0,7% y la de los últimos doce meses, en el 3,2%, lo que supone duplicar la media de los países de la zona euro. En lo que va de año, la media de crecimiento es el 3,3%, lo que permite asegurar el cumplimiento holgado del objetivo para el conjunto del ejercicio. La contribución de la demanda interna y la externa se hace más equilibrada gracias a un crecimiento de las exportaciones mayor que el de las importaciones. La creación de empleo se sitúa en el 2,9% respecto de hace un año, una décima más que el trimestre anterior, lo que se traduce en 499.000 nuevos puestos de trabajo equivalentes a tiempo completo.
