02 Feb The registered unemployment figure in the Canary Islands is 169.818 people

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias By sex and with respect to December 2023, unemployment rose by 891 men and 1.082 mujeres. They increased
unemployment figures for almost all age groups, producing an increase in 3,6% in the group
of minors 25 years and maintaining the figure in the group of 50 years and more.

Registered unemployment figures rose on all islands, except in La Gomera and El Hierro. Las
