El Consejo de Ministros ha aprobado el Real Decreto-Ley de medidas para la trasposición al derecho español de la Directiva Europea de Mercados e Instrumentos Financieros, conocida como MIFID II, en lo relativo a los centros de negociación. Con esta decisión, The functioning of the financial markets in Spain is consistent with international standards, which represents improvements in aspects such as transparency., efficiency and stability of markets. New corporate governance requirements are also introduced for the governing bodies of these markets in matters such as appointments and conflicts of interest.. The sanctions for non-compliance with the new regulations are raised to a maximum of five million euros or the 10% of the annual turnover in the case of very serious. The entry into force is 3 January 2018
