By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Tourists from the United Kingdom represented the largest number of entries (515.745), a
32,9% of the total number of tourists; followed by resident tourists Germany (289.422), which represent
el 18,4% of the total, and residents in the rest of Spain (126.421), contributing a 8,1% of the total
of tourists received.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas tanto extranjeros como residentes en la Península fue
Tenerife (621.624), seguida de Gran Canaria, con 441.921 tourists.
