By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias The ISTAC, like the rest of public administrations, has incorporated among its priorities
provide useful information that allows the Government of the Canary Islands to establish and evaluate the
Sustainable Development in the area of ​​our community. In collaboration with the General Directorate of
Research and Coordination of Sustainable Development, the work that we present today responds
to the commitment to establish a framework of statistical indicators, aligned with those established by
United Nations.

The statistical series shown are harmonized and are comparable between the different
autonomies, as it is the result of the joint work of the different Central Statistical Bodies of the
the autonomous communities (OCECAS). A su vez, in line with ISTAC's open data policy,
the series can be downloaded in open formats and reused according to the Institute's license.

building, to which new series will be added depending on the availability of new
data from official sources.

=== How does it work?

Navigation between the different indicators is done in a very intuitive way, clicking on the
Objective that we want to see or using the search engine. Within each objective the indicators
available is marked in green. Once we access the indicator that interests us, shows
different drop-down lists (combos) to select the territory and the rest of the variables.
