El ministro de Economía, Industria y Competitividad, Luis de Guindos, ha anunciado que el Gobierno establecerá el plan de contribución a la ESA para el periodo 2017-2024 con una aportación de fondos por importe de 1.512,3 millones de euros. Esta contribución, que supone un incremento de 600,3 millones de euros respecto a la aprobada en 2014, financiará la participación de España en las actividades obligatorias de la ESA, así como en los programas opcionales que sean de especial interés para la industria espacial española
