By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Al resolverse más asuntos de los que se ingresaron, la tasa de congestión en los juzgados de lo
contencioso administrativo de Canarias ha disminuido si la comparamos con datos del cuarto trimestre
de 2015 (3,53 frente a 3,66). En las dos provincias canarias esta tendencia se ha mantenido, en Las
Palmas ha bajado del 4,22 al 4,1 mientras que en Santa Cruz de Tenerife ha pasado del 2,8 al 2,67.

La tasa de congestión relaciona los asuntos pendientes al inicio de periodo y los registrados en
dicho periodo con los asuntos resueltos. Una jurisdicción está en mejor situación cuando menor sea
su tasa de congestión.
