the JECAS 2021, which can be accessed through the url https://jecas.es [https://jecas.es/] ,
platform on which conferences will be held, technical sessions, plenaries and other events
to address the role of public statistics of the Autonomous Communities as a fundamental basis
for analysis, evaluation and decision-making that improve the quality of life in our
society, with special attention to the measurement of sustainable development.

In the same week of celebration of the XXI Conference on Statistics of the Autonomous Communities, and
more concretely, on Wednesday 17 November 2021, will take place the satellite event Uso de R y
Python in Public Sector Data Science, organized by ISTAC in collaboration with the
R Canarias and Python Canarias communities.

From this Thursday, 15 de abril, and until 15 June, all interested persons may send
proposals for papers and posters, both for the JECAS and for the satellite event, through
summaries that will be evaluated by the organizing technical team for possible inclusion in the
technical sessions of the conference or its publication on the https web://jecas.es [https://jecas.es/]

The JECAS have been configured throughout its history as the main meeting point,
discussion and coordination of the Statistical Offices of the Autonomous Communities, being a
unique opportunity to share experiences that inspire new initiatives and provide great value
added to regional public statistics.
