used after beating Mateo again that year.

In the case of women, Sofia adds its second year as the most used name. En 2022 fue
Valeria and in 2021, Martina. En 2020, the most used name had already been Sofia.

Thiago (114), Liam (108), Leo (90) and Hugo (87) are the next favorite names among children,
while for the girls Martina stands out (79), Valeria (75), Valentina (72) and Olivia (69).

Mateo was the most used name in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, while Sofía was the favorite in
Gran Canaria.
