21 Jan Hotel managers are less optimistic about the next quarter than tourist apartment managers
By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Occupancy rates expected for the months of October, noviembre y diciembre son 80%, 75% and
el 71% for hotels and 82%, 78% and 72% for non-hotel establishments.
Regarding the trend of the main factors of the business climate for the first quarter
de 2026, in relation to the previous quarter, in general, managers of hotel establishments and
non-hotel owners consider that they will remain stable, siendo el 78% and the 89%, respectivamente, en el
employment, el 71% and the 82% in investment, el 59% and the 67% in the price level and the 54% and the 60% en
billing.
Respecto a la tendencia del grado de ocupación para el primer trimestre, en relación a 2025, el
56,73% and the 71,35% of hotel and non-hotel establishment managers consider that
will keep stable.
The Confidence Index is prepared with opinions about the current situation and expectations
What hotel and apartment managers have. In this sense, hotel managers
are less optimistic than hotel managers, where the confidence index falls 6,96 puntos
compared to the previous quarter of 2025.
