19 Oct Hotel and non-hotel occupancy rates expected for October, noviembre y diciembre son 79%, 76% and the 74% and 74%, 79% and 77% respectivamente
By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias El 58,91% of the managers of hotel establishments in the Canary Islands consider that the progress of
your business during the fourth quarter of 2023 will be favorable, mientras que el 9,44% think it will be
unfavorable. Likewise, el 51,72% of managers of non-hotel establishments
considers that the progress of the business will be favorable, mientras que el 6,95% think it will be
unfavorable.
Regarding the trend of the main factors of the business climate for the fourth quarter
de 2023, in relation to the previous quarter, in general, managers of hotel establishments and
non-hotel owners consider that they will maintain stable, siendo el 67% and the 75%, respectivamente, en el
employment, el 73% and the 71% in investment, el 47% and the 50% in the price level and the 40% and the 47% en
billing.
Regarding the trend in the occupancy rate for the fourth quarter, en relación a 2022, el
47,83% and the 59,98% of hotel and non-hotel establishment managers consider that
will keep stable.
Within the assessment of influential factors in the business, the shortage of labor stands out
both in hotel and non-hotel establishments, con un 65,35% y un 44,24%, respectivamente.
On the other side, regarding the policies applied by Public Administrations, highlight the
positive influence on tourism promotion and security.
