By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias El 48,08% of the managers of hotel establishments in the Canary Islands consider that the
performance of its business during the second quarter of 2024 will be favorable while the 11,74%
thinks it will be unfavorable. However, only the 32,8% of the people managing the
non-hotel establishments considers that the progress of the business will be favorable compared to the 20,59%
What do you think will be unfavorable?.

Regarding the trend of the main factors of the business climate for the second quarter
de 2024, in relation to the previous quarter, in general, establishment managers
hoteliers and non-hoteliers consider that they will maintain stable, siendo el 69% and the 81%,
respectivamente, in employment, el 68% in both in the investment, el 50% and the 49% at the level of
prices and the 41% and the 42% in billing.

Regarding the trend in the occupancy rate for the second quarter, en relación a 2023, el
46,47% and the 61,49% of the managers of hotel and non-hotel establishments consider
that will remain stable. We highlight, however, que el 34,63% of the managers of
hotel establishments consider that it increases, versus 18,08% of the managers of
non-hotel establishments.

Within the assessment of influential factors in the business, the shortage of labor stands out
both in hotel and non-hotel establishments with a 69,19% y un 50,01%, respectivamente.
