01 Jan European funds and extraordinary transfers to Social Security and CCAA place the spending ceiling of 2021 en 196.097 million

06 de octubre de 2020

The Council of Ministers has today approved an Agreement to establish the limit of non-financial expenditure of the State for 2021, which represents a fundamental step for the preparation of the General Budgets, that must lay the foundations for the social and economic reconstruction of the country. This is a spending ceiling that rises up to 196.097 millones de euros. It is a figure that does not allow a homogeneous comparison with previous years due to the pandemic context in which it was prepared and because it includes extraordinary transfers to CCAA and Social Security., as well as the important absorption of a first package of European funds.
