29 Oct Las ventas al por menor en Canarias aumentaron un 6,8% en septiembre de 2025 con respecto al mismo mes de 2024

The greatest variations took place in Ceuta (11,8%), Melilla (8,4%) and Basque Country (8,3%). Por
other side, the smallest variations occurred in Navarra (1,7%), Asturias (3,2%) and Castile and
León (3,7%). Taking into account the evolution of sales by groups in the Canary Islands, these went up a 8,6%
en alimentación y un 6,7% en el resto.
Por su parte, employment in Canarian retail trade has increased by 1,0% in the last twelve
meses, while at the national level it has increased 1,3%. En este concepto, Canarias (1,0%) this
positioned in ninth position among the group of autonomous communities and cities. The older ones
variations took place in Catalonia (3,3%), Ceuta (3,3%) and Navarre (2,0%), while the
lower rates of variation have occurred in the Basque Country (-1,2%), Galicia (0,3%), Castile and León (0,4%)
and La Rioja (0,4%).
