28 Nov Las ventas al por menor en Canarias aumentaron un 3,8% en octubre de 2025 con respecto al mismo mes de 2024

(3,8%). The greatest variations took place in Ceuta (9,2%), Melilla (8,9%) and Basque Country (7,1%).
On the other side, the smallest variations occurred in Asturias (1,2%), Navarra (2,2%) and Madrid
(3,0%). Taking into account the evolution of sales by groups in the Canary Islands, these went up a 5,6% en
alimentación y un 3,3% en el resto.
Por su parte, employment in Canarian retail trade has increased by 0,4% in the last twelve
meses, while at the national level it has increased 0,9%. En este concepto, Canarias (0,4%) this
positioned in the fourteenth position among the group of autonomous communities and cities. Las
greatest variations took place in Ceuta (3,7%), Cataluña (1,9%), Baleares (1,7%) and Melilla
(1,7%), while the lowest variation rates have occurred in the Basque Country (-1,5%), Aragon
(-0,6%) and La Rioja (-0,1%).
