By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Durante el mes de abril de 2021 they attended 542 calls in the 016 for gender violence, a 8%
más que en abril de 2020, in which they were attended 502. El 75% of the calls were made by the user,
a 19% family members or close people and a 6% other people.
