29 Dec Lanzarote continues to be the island with the highest GDP per capita in 2024

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Lanzarote recorded the Gross Domestic Product (START) highest per capita in the archipelago in 2024,
con 28.280 euros per inhabitant. Fuerteventura follows, con 26.219 euros, y Tenerife, con 26.061

figure are placed: Gran Canaria (25.468), La Palma (23.879), La Gomera (23.570) y El Hierro (22.760).
These are GDP advance data by islands for 2024 published by the Canary Institute of
Estadística (ISTAC).

Since the year 2004, Lanzarote stands out for registering the highest GDP per capita of the islands.
Fuerteventura and Tenerife show values ​​similar to each other and slightly higher than those of Gran
Canaria, while La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro present the lowest records. No
