El Índice de Precios de Consumo (IPC) aumentó en febrero de 2018 el 1,1% interanual, según cifras publicadas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), rate identical to that advanced by the INE and higher by half a point than that registered in January (0,6%). The increase in inflation in February is explained by the increase in the prices of energy products, after the fall of the previous month, and, en menor medida, due to the acceleration of prices of services and non-energy industrial goods (BINE), partially offset by the slower growth rate of food prices. En términos intermensuales, el IPC ha registrado un aumento del 0,1% en febrero de 2018, frente al descenso del 0,4% en el mismo mes de 2017.
