By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias El 24,0% of the managers of the Canarian establishments consider that the progress of their
business will be favorable in the third quarter of 2024, mientras que el 14,8% think it will be
unfavorable. The balance of expectations, calculated as the difference between the percentage of
favorable and unfavorable responses, se sitúa en 9,2 puntos, slightly improving 9,0 of the
previous quarter.

Regarding the progress of its business in the second quarter of 2024, el 22,4% of the
management people have had a favorable opinion. Por otra parte, el 17,9% has given his opinion
unfavorable, lo que hace que el balance de situación, calculado análogamente al de expectativas,
tome el valor 4,5, empeorando los 15,0 puntos del trimestre anterior.

Por islas, business confidence regarding the second quarter of 2024 has increased a 4,5% in it
Iron and a 0,7% en La Gomera, while it has decreased 4,0% in Fuerteventura, a 3,8% en
Lanzarote, a 3,2% in Tenerife and a 2,8% in La Palma. Regarding sectors of activity, has gone up
a 1,4% en otros servicios (services sector except trade, transporte y hostelería), has been
kept constant (0,0%) in construction and has dropped 8,7% in transportation and hospitality, a
1,7% in commerce and a 1,1% in the industry.
