By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias El 21,8% of the managers of the Canarian establishments consider that the progress of their
business will be favorable in the first quarter of 2025, mientras que el 14,0% think it will be
unfavorable. The balance of expectations, calculated as the difference between the percentage of
favorable and unfavorable responses, se sitúa en 7,8 puntos, empeorando los 12,6 of the quarter
anterior.

En lo que respecta a la marcha de su negocio en el cuarto trimestre de 2024, el 31,8% of the
management people have had a favorable opinion. Por otra parte, el 11,8% has given his opinion
unfavorable, lo que hace que el balance de situación, calculado análogamente al de expectativas,
tome el valor 20,0, mejorando los 10,8 puntos del trimestre anterior.

Por islas, la confianza empresarial respecto al cuarto trimestre de 2024 has increased a 2,6% en
Tenerife, a 1,9% in Gran Canaria, a 1,7% in La Palma, a 1,1% in La Gomera and a 0,9% in Lanzarote,
while it has decreased 10,6% in El Hierro and a 1,9% in Fuerteventura. Regarding sectors of
activity, has gone up a 3,8% in construction, a 2,1% in trade, a 1,7% en otros servicios
(services sector except trade, transporte y hostelería) y un 0,3% in the industry and has dropped
1,8% in transportation and hospitality.
