By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias In the case of second-hand homes, the price increased by 12,5% en el último año. This value
is above the annual variation rate at the national level (12,3%).

In the global housing, The biggest price increases during the last year occurred in
Andalusia (14%) and Murcia (13,3%). and the minor ones, in the Balearic Islands (10%) y Cantabria (10,2%). En
Canarias, the annual variation rate in the first quarter of 2025 is located in a 12,4% respecto al
same quarter of 2024.

The main objective of the Housing Price Index is to measure the evolution of prices
purchase and sale of free price homes, both new and second hand. It also allows
make comparisons with national data and other autonomous communities.
