16 Feb The year-on-year GDP grew in the Canary Islands by 2,8% versus 2,0% registered by the whole of Spain

experienced growth in this quarter of the 0,6%. Data available by communities
autonomous reflect the following variations: Andalusia (0,8%), Navarra (0,5%), the Basque Country (0,4%) and
Cataluña (0,7%).
By temporal aggregation of the four quarters of 2023, Canarian GDP increases, in terms
real, a 3,9% respecto al año anterior, At the national level the economy experienced growth
of the 2,5%. The data available by autonomous community reflects the following growth:
Andalusia (2,5%), Navarra (1,9%), the Basque Country (1,8%) y Cataluña (2,6%).
In terms of volume, the GDP of the Canary Islands reaches the value recorded in 2019. In terms
nominal, This magnitude reaches 54.240 millones de euros, a 15% higher than the figure of 2019
(47.183 millones de euros).
