16 Feb The year-on-year GDP grew in the Canary Islands by 2,8% versus 2,0% registered by the whole of Spain

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias En términos trimestrales, The Canary Islands GDP registered an increase of 0,4%, at the national level the economy
experienced growth in this quarter of the 0,6%. Data available by communities
autonomous reflect the following variations: Andalusia (0,8%), Navarra (0,5%), the Basque Country (0,4%) and
Cataluña (0,7%).

Por agregación temporal de los cuatro trimestres de 2023, el PIB canario se incrementa, en términos
reales, a 3,9% respecto al año anterior, a nivel nacional la economía experimentó un crecimiento
of the 2,5%. Los datos disponibles por comunidades autónomas reflejan los siguientes crecimientos:
Andalusia (2,5%), Navarra (1,9%), the Basque Country (1,8%) y Cataluña (2,6%).

En términos de volumen el PIB de Canarias alcanza el valor registrado en 2019. En términos
nominales, esta magnitud alcanza los 54.240 millones de euros, a 15% superior a la cifra de 2019
(47.183 millones de euros).
