By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Registered unemployment rose in women and fell in men, but practically remaining in figures
similar to last month. Variations by age group are also very small.. Unemployment rose
slightly in the groups up to 40 years and fell from this age.

Only in the construction sector did registered unemployment drop more noticeably, being the rate of
