By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias By sex and with respect to June 2024, Registered unemployment fell in men and rose slightly in
mujeres. By age groups, Unemployment figures decreased in all groups, except for the
people from 35 a 44 years old, where it increased in 133 people. In minors 25 years it occurred
the greatest decrease in unemployment, with a rate of change of -3,1%.

Registered unemployment fell in all the islands and also in all economic sectors. The collective
of people looking for their first job decreased by around 3%.
