By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Por islas, the number of mortgages granted in December 2014 respecto del mismo mes del año
anterior arroja los siguientes resultados: La Palma experienced an increase of 287,5% passing
16 a 62; El Hierro also suffers an increase, of the 66,67%, passing 3 a 5; Tenerife increases by
43,6%, passing 406 a 583; Gran Canaria decreases by 14,5%, passing 538 a 460; Fuerteventura
decreases by a 22,67%, passing 75 a 58; Lanzarote goes down in a 23,08%, passing 91 a 70; por
último, La Gomera experimenta un descenso del 100%, passing 6 a 0.
