By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias By economic sectors, The number of accidents during work hours so far this year was 765
in agriculture, 1.288 en industria, 2.526 under construction and 13.634 in the service sector. Respecto
de septiembre de 2023, se observa una bajada en el número de accidentes en agricultura y en
building, while they rose in industry and services.

The monthly incidence rate is 227,1 for accidents with sick leave during the working day and 0,16 para
fatal accidents. By economic sectors, el índice es mayor en construcción (469,7), seguido de
agriculture (437,1), industry (351,3) and services (196,4).
