By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias By economic sectors, The number of accidents during work hours so far this year was 492
in agriculture, 857 en industria, 1.645 under construction and 8.945 in the service sector. In respect of
June 2023, There is a decrease in the number of accidents in agriculture and construction,
while they rose in industry and services.

The monthly incidence rate is 223,62 for accidents with sick leave during the working day and 0.17 for
fatal accidents. By economic sectors, the index is higher in construction (460,45), followed
of agriculture (421,83), industry (351,48) and services (193,56).
