to update and incorporate new working methods and integrate new data sources
available that allow generating accurate information, standardized and reusable. In that sense,
This statistical operation takes advantage of the work developed by ISTAC within the framework of the System
Integrated Data (iData), which allows the development of statistics based on various sources of
administrative data. For this case, iData takes information from registration records and
graduates from Canarian public universities, workers registered in the system
affiliations to Social Security and MUFACE (General Mutuality of State Civil Officials),
job seekers in the Canarian Employment Service, and finally, the Municipal Registers
of inhabitants. Also through iDatos information is obtained from Population Statistics
Active Registered (EPA-Reg), that since 2011 provides detailed quarterly population data
active registered in the Canary Islands at a submunicipal level. further, with its integration into the
Data Infrastructure and Statistical Metadata of the Canary Islands (eData), can be shared, soak
and be reused.

Other novelties of this study are the incorporation of new administrative sources, like the
enrollment in public universities in the Canary Islands, the generation of new indicators, as
registered plaintiff rates, of registered salary and job insertion; and the
possibility of generating visualizations of this data quickly, simple and customizable.
