08 Nov El Índice de Confianza del Consumidor en Canarias se sitúa en 72,5 points in the third quarter of 2024

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias The Consumer Confidence Index measures the level of optimism about the current situation and the
future expectations of citizens in the Canary Islands. Respondents must evaluate each
situation as equal, better or worse and with these data an index is calculated that takes a value between 0 and
200. If the index is above 100 It is understood that there are more favorable opinions than
desfavorables.

Both components of the index fell to the same extent. The Current Situation Index fell 0,8 puntos
and the Expectations Index 1,2 puntos. In this way, The Current Situation Index is located at
68,4 puntos, while the Expectations Index is 76,7 puntos.

The Consumer Confidence Index fell, compared to the previous quarter, in the south and north
