By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Por islas, vegetative growth was negative in all except Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, donde
la población creció en 278 and 187 people, respectivamente. In Gran Canaria (-2.848 people),
Tenerife (-2.920), La Palma (-415), La Gomera (-89) y El Hierro (-39) nacieron menos personas de las
que murieron.
