By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Por islas, vegetative growth was negative in all except Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, where
the population grew in 278 and 187 people, respectivamente. In Gran Canaria (-2.848 people),
Tenerife (-2.920), La Palma (-415), La Gomera (-89) y El Hierro (-39) fewer people were born than
who died.
